Endowment Gifts

In 1983, under the leadership of then Executive Director Jane Aspnes, the Fairbanks Symphony established the FSA Endowment Fund. Over the last two decades we have seen a significant drop in monetary support from State, Federal and Local government agencies and corporate entities. Because of the foresight of Jane Aspnes, the generosity of community members and the hard work of the Board of Directors, staff, and many volunteers, the Fairbanks Symphony has an Endowment of over $1,000,000. This fund will help to ensure the future of the FSO, ACO and its subsidiaries. We have set a new long term goal of reaching $2,000,000.

Gifts to the Endowment are invested and only a portion of the income earned from the fund each year can be used for Symphony programs.  Endowment gifts afford naming opportunities and include concert or series endowments, educational programs, special projects and more. Gifts may also be recognized in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
