COVID-19 Season/Event Update
Friends and Supporters,
The Fairbanks Symphony Association is committed to the health and safety of everyone in our community, including our dedicated patrons, musicians, staff, volunteers, vendors, and community partners. Like many, we are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
It is therefore with great sadness that we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel all of the remaining events in our season:
March 26th Zhenni Li recital
March 29th Fairbanks Symphony Concert featuring Zhenni Li
March 27th The Rhapsody in Red and White Wine tasting at Raven
April 11th Beat Beethoven 5K Race
April 26th Season Finale Beethoven’s 9th
If you have already purchased tickets or registered for any of these events, you have two options:
- Donate your ticket back to the FSO: Your tax-deductible donation today means that the next time you join us for a concert or event, the FSO will be available and ready to share the joy of live music with you once more, as a healthy, vibrant, and financially secure organization.
OR
- Request a ticket refund: The FSO will happily refund the cost of your event ticket(s). If we have not received your request for a refund by April 30th, 2020, we will automatically accept your donation.
Begin your ticket donation or refund below.
The Fairbanks Symphony is committed to its mission of bringing music to the Fairbanks Community and while the current crisis has us cancelling events, the FSO believes we need music more than ever. We look forward to the time when we can join together in the Davis Concert Hall and share with you our passion for music. Until then we share with you this link to recordings by Zhenni Li, who was to be our soloist for the March recital and concert: http://www.zhennili.com/listen.
My Best,
Charles Lemke
President, Fairbanks Symphony Association
